RESOLUTION NO. R98-1360

A resolution renewing R97-936 approving a contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department and CAMPUS for services to the homeless at the Campus for Human Development.

Whereas, The Metropolitan Health Department wishes to contract with CAMPUS for the provision of shelter, necessities, and educational programs for the homeless; and,

Whereas, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this contract be approved.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the contract by and between Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department and CAMPUS for the provision of services to the homeless at Campus for Human Development for the amount of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars (200,000.00) be approved and a copy of this contract is attached hereto and incorporated herein, and is hereby approved.

Section 2. That any amendments to this contract shall be approved by resolution by twenty-one (21) affirmative votes of the Metropolitan Council.

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
