RESOLUTION NO. R98-1342

A resolution approving the renewal of grant R97-812 by and between the State of Tennessee, Department of Human Services to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Health Department for the provision of Families First Employment Services.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant from the State of Tennessee, Department of Human Services, to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County through the Metropolitan Health Department for the provision of Families First Services, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00) and for a term commencing on July 1, 1998, and extending through September 30, 1999, which grant is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, be and the same is approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
