RESOLUTION NO. R98-1340

A resolution approving a grant of $35,617.00 from the Tennessee Department of Health to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the the Metropolitan Health Department (Downtown Clinic) for the provision of alcohol and drug abuse diagnosis, prevention, treatment, referral for treatment or rehabilitation, and training services.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1: That the grant by and between the Department of Health, State of Tennessee and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by and through the Metropolitan Department of Health for referral and case management services for the provision of alcohol and drug abuse diagnosis, prevention, treatment, referral for treatment or rehabilitation, and training services in an amount not to exceed $35,617.00 and for a term commencing on July 1, 1998 and extending through June 30, 1999, which grant is made a part of this resolution by reference, be and hereby is approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
