RESOLUTION NO. R98-1339

A resolution approving a grant application by The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health to the United States Environmental Protection Agency in the amount of $340,820.00 for air pollution control.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the grant application submitted on behalf of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by the Metropolitan Board of Health for $340,820.00 to be matched by $242,161.00 in local, already budgeted funds, for air pollution control and for a term commencing on October 1, 1998 and extending through September 30, 1999, a copy of which grant application is attached hereto and made part of this resolution be, and the same is, hereby approved.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
