RESOLUTION NO. R98-1324

A resolution honoring Jeffrey Zurawski upon receiving the Eagle Scout Award.

WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout Award is one of the highest and most prestigious ranks that a Boy Scout can achieve; and

WHEREAS, Scout Jeffrey Zurawski has participated in Scouting since an early age and has received numerous achievements and awards; and

WHEREAS, Scout Jeffrey Zurawski is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and will receive the coveted Eagle Scout Award at the Court of Honor presentation ceremony on Sunday, November 8, 1998; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the Metropolitan Council honor Scout Jeffrey Zurawski for his outstanding accomplishments in the Boy Scouts of America.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby goes on record as honoring Scout Jeffrey Zurawski upon receiving the prestigious Eagle Scout Award.

SECTION 2. The Metropolitan Council Staff Office is directed to prepare a certificate to be presented to Scout Jeffrey Zurawski.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
