A resolution approving an amendment to a grant for health care for the homeless from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Service by increasing the amount of the grant by 7,000.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Service to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by and through the Board of Health in the amount of $593,437.00, approved by the Metropolitan Council by Resolution 97-970 for a term commencing on November 1, 1997, and extending through October 30, 1998, is, hereby amended by increasing the amount of the grant by $7,000.00 for a total grant of $600,437.00.

Section 2. The amendment as signed by the federal government is attached and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
