A resolution amending Resolution No. R97-967 by approval of Amendment No. 1 which reduces by $100,000 the grant from the Tennessee Department of Health to the Metropolitan Government for immunization services and control of vaccine-preventable diseases.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Resolution No. R97-967 be amended by approval of Amendment No. 1 to the grant approved by said resolution, between the State of Tennessee and the Metropolitan Government which amendment reduces the grant by $100,000 from $434,400 to $333,400 all other terms and conditions remaining the same, be, and the same is, hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Amendment No. 1.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
