RESOLUTION NO. R98-1254

A resolution approving a contract between the Tennessee Department of Transportation and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for State-Aid assisted project NO. 19044-3210-04, Harpeth Trace Drive AT SR-100, Intersection Modification.

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has negotiated contracts with the Tennessee Department of Transportation for Harpeth Trace Drive at SR-100,Project No. 19044-3210-04; and

WHEREAS, Metropolitan County Council Ordinance No. 85-739 authorized the Metropolitan County Mayor to execute any and all contracts necessary to implement the State-Aid Highway System Projects, after approval of same by resolution, and

WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Metropolitan Government to approve the contract with the Tennessee Department of Transportation for Harpeth Trace Drive at SR-100, intersection modification.

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davids County, Tennessee:

SECTION 1: That the contracts with the Tennessee Department of Transportation for Harpeth Trace Drive at SR-100, intersection modification,Project No. 19044-3210-04, copies of which are attached as Exhibit A. are approved.

SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
