ADOPTED 08/18/1998

WHEREAS, on September 18, 1997, Grant Achephol was responsible for a vehicular accident that caused damage to an emergency vehicle owned by the Metropolitan Government; and,

WHEREAS, after investigation, the Department of Law believes that the settlement listed in Section 1 is fair and reasonable, and recommends that the claim be compromised and settled in the amount of $12,595.26, and that these funds be deposited into the U.S.D. General Fund.

SECTION 1: The Metropolitan Department of Law is authorized to accept the amount of $12,595.26 in compromise and settlement of its claim against Grant Achephol.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
