RESOLUTION NO. R98-1225
A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING AND TRANSFERRING $50,000 FROM THE RESERVE ACCOUNT FOR A DISASTER RELIEF COORDINATOR TO THE MAYOR'S OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT.
WHEREAS, the operating budget of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the fiscal year 1998-99 established a Reserve Account in the amount of $50,000 for a disaster relief coordinator in the Mayor's Office of Emergency Management; and
WHEREAS,
it is necessary and in the public interest of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to appropriate and transfer the Reserve funds to provide funding for the staff position; andNOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1.
That the $50,000 provided in the fiscal year 1998-99 operating budget of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County be and same is hereby appropriated and transferred from the Reserve Account of the General Fund of the General Services District for a disaster relief coordinator to the account listed below which is in addition to those contained in the current operating budget.| FROM: | AMOUNT |
