RESOLUTION NO. R98-1163

A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING $20,000 IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE HADLEY PARK TENNIS PROGRAM IN THE SOUTH NASHVILLE ENTERPRISE COMMUNITY.

WHEREAS, application for the Twenty-Fourth Year of the Community Development Block Grant Program was approved by Ordinance No. 097-995; and

WHEREAS, the application for the Twenty-Fourth Year included funds for the South Nashville Enterprise Community

WHEREAS, during planning for the South Nashville Enterprise Community youth activities were identified as important and critical components in the revitalization of the area; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. That $20,000 of Community Development Block Grant Funds is hereby appropriated for operation of the Hadley Park Tennis Program in the South Nashville Enterprise Community.

SECTION 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
