RESOLUTION NO. R98-1155

A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 103 GRANT BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY AND THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, ACTING BY AND THROUGH THE METROPOLITAN BOARD OF HEALTH FOR THE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF AN EPA AIR MONITORING PROGRAM.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. That the 103 Grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for installation and operation of a Particulate Matter (PM2.5) Ambient Air Monitoring Network, through September 30, 1999, which grant is attached hereto and made a part of this resolution, be, and the same is, approved.

SECTION 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
