RESOLUTION NO. R98-1146

A RESOLUTION INITIATING A REZONING REQUEST TO THE METROPOLITAN PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION AND OVERLAY DISTRICT KNOWN AS THE WOODLAND IN WAVERLY DISTRICT.

WHEREAS, Section 17.10.16A of the Metropolitan Code provides that the Metropolitan Council by resolution may initiate, with the Metropolitan Planning Commission, a rezoning request initiated by any department of the Metropolitan Government, which application fees shall be waived.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan County Council hereby waives the application fee for amending the Official Zoning Map for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for a rezoning request removing certain property from the Woodland In Waverly Historic Preservation and Overlay District, to be initiated by The Metropolitan County Council.

SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
