ADOPTED 05/19/1998

WHEREAS, the State of Tennessee, wishes to increase the maximum liability of the State under this Grant from Four Hundred Fifty Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($452,500) to an amount not to exceed Four Hundred Ninety Eight Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($498,300); and

WHEREAS, R97-968 provided that amendments to the Grant may be approved by Resolution by the Metropolitan Council; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of The Metropolitan Government that this amendment to the contract be approved.

SECTION 1. That the Amendment to Grant No. Z-98-086646-00 by and between the State of Tennessee, Department of Health and The Metropolitan Health Department of Nashville/Davidson County which amendment increases the maximum liability of the State under this Grant from Four Hundred Fifty Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($452,500) to an amount not to exceed Four Hundred Ninety Eight Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($498,300), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
