RESOLUTION NO. R98-1117
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE GSD GENERAL FUND TO THE SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL FUND (1-146) AND TO APPROPRIATE SAID FUNDS TO THE SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL FUND FOR CHIPPER SERVICE AND THE PRISONER PROGRAM TO RIGHT-OF-WAY CLEANUP.
WHEREAS, there are certain needs that must be addressed to provide and/or maintain services in the Solid Waste Program; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government pursuant to Substitute Ordinance O97-792 appropriated funds in a reserve account (101-521.352) for the purpose of use for Solid Waste Disposal Fund (1-146) activities through which such obligations are by law discharged, not to exceed the amount of $1,000,000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1: That the funds appropriated by the Metropolitan Government pursuant to the Solid Waste reserve account (101-521.352) authorized by Substitute Ordinance O97-792 in the amount of $140,000 are hereby appropriated for transfer to the Solid Waste Disposal Fund for the contracting of chipper services; and said funds are to be transferred to Fund No. 1-146 MP 599.571 and appropriated to MP 599.572.
SECTION 2: That the funds appropriated by the Metropolitan Government pursuant to the Solid Waste reserve account (101-521.352) authorized by Substitute Ordinance O97-792 in the amount of $36,000 are hereby appropriated for transfer to the Solid Waste Disposal Fund for the prisoner Program to support right-of-way cleanup 1) Equipment $6,000; 2) Prisoner fees, $30,000, funds are to be transferred to Fund No. 1-146 MP 599.501 and appropriated to MP 599.542.
SECTION 3: That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
