WHEREAS, there is a need for the completion of the expansion of the expansion of the Ash Landfill and the upgrade to convenience center located on Richard G. Adams Drive; and

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Metropolitan Government to appropriate the amount of $375,000, to fund these activities for Solid Waste.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That there is hereby appropriated $250,000, from the unappropriated balance of the Solid Waste Fund, 1-146 MP599.501 to be transferred to the Solid Waste Funds - Miscellaneous Appropriations, to the Department of Public Works in Account No. 1-146 MP599.542 to finance the completion of the expansion of the Ash Landfill.

SECTION 2: That there is hereby appropriated $125,000, from the unappropriated balance of the Solid Waste Fund, 1-146 MP599.501 to be transferred to the Solid Waste Funds - Miscellaneous Appropriations, to the Department of Public Works in Account No. 1-146 MP599.542 to finance the upgrade of the Convenience Center located at 931 Richard G. Adams Drive.

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
