A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R97-705 BY APPROVING AN AMENDMENT NUMBER ONE TO A GRANT CONTRACT APPROVED THEREIN BY AND BETWEEN THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT, ACTING BY AND THROUGH THE METROPOLITAN BOARD OF HEALTH, AND THE STATE OF TENNESSEE.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Resolution No. R97-705 be amended by approval of Amendment No. 1 to the grant approved therein by and between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and the State of Tennessee for the provision of rape prevention education so as to extend the term for one additional year, provide an additional $20,000 in grant funds, and amend the audit requirement. All other terms and conditions of said contract shall remain the same; said amendment is attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, and the same is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said amendment.

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
