A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE STATE OF TENNESSEE
TO THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY
TO BE PAID TO MUSIC CITY BASEBALL, INC. TO SUPPORT ITS VARIOUS
PROGRAMS.
WHEREAS,
the budget for the State of Tennessee includes an appropriation
of state funds in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000)
to Music City Baseball, Inc., a not for profit organization, which
are to be paid through The Metropolitan Government of Nashville
and Davidson; and
WHEREAS,
it is to the benefit of the citizens
of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County
that these funds be accepted for and paid to Music City Baseball,
Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan Council hereby accepts
the appropriation of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) from the State
of Tennessee to be deposited and paid to Music City Baseball,
Inc., a nonprofit organization.
SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from
and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government
of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
