ORDINANCE NO. BL2017-715

An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to negotiate and accept permanent and temporary easements for the Roundwood Forest Drive Stormwater Improvement Project for two properties located at 3617 and 3621 Roundwood Forest Drive, (Project No. 17-SWC-217 and Proposal No. 2017M-030ES-001).

WHEREAS, the negotiation and acceptance of permanent and temporary easements for two properties located at 3617 and 3621 Roundwood Forest Drive are needed to construct MWS Project 17-SWC-217; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2017M-030ES-001on March 24, 2017, for the negotiation and acceptance of permanent and temporary easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to negotiate and accept permanent and temporary easements for two properties located at 3617 and 3621 Roundwood Forest Drive as shown on Exhibits 1 and 2, which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the negotiations and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
