ORDINANCE NO. BL2017-564

An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept a donation of $25,000 from Craighead Development LLC to aid in the construction of intersection improvements at SR171, Hobson Pike and Pin Hook Road (Project No. 2016-R-43).

WHEREAS, Craighead Development LLC has offered to donate $25,000 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to aid in the construction of intersection improvements at SR171, Hobson Pike and Pin Hook Road, Project No. 2016-R-43; and,

WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept such donation for the purposes herein specified.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the Department of Public Works is authorized to accept the donation in the amount of $25,000.00 from Craighead Development LLC to aid in the construction of intersection improvements at SR171, Hobson Pike and Pin Hook Road, Project No. 2016-R-43.

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
