ORDINANCE NO. BL2016-528

An Ordinance amending chapter 8.20 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws regarding running at large of certain animals.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. Chapter 8.20 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws is hereby amended by deleting section 8.20.050 in its entirety and substituting the following in lieu thereof:

8.20.050 - Running at large of certain animals prohibited.

No person shall permit any dangerous or mischievous animal to run at large. No cattle, sheep, horse, goat, mule or hog shall be allowed by any owner or by any person having charge of the same to go at large in any street or public place.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
