ORDINANCE NO. BL2016-380

An ordinance authorizing the acquisition of an easement on a portion of property located at Seven Points Circle (unnumbered), Hermitage, for the installation of a Sewer Odor Control Station (Proposal No. 2016M-037ES-001).

WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that an easement be acquired to permit the installation of a Sewer Odor Control Station at Seven Points Circle, Hermitage, to serve the Meadows of Seven Points sewer system, MWS Project # 16-SG-0137; and

WHEREAS, several Metropolitan Government agencies have reviewed the proposal and concur in the recommendation for approval; and

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission has recommended approval to the Metropolitan Council of the acquisition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Director of Public Property Administration is hereby authorized to acquire by negotiation or condemnation the following described 20’ X 40’ easement on the property at Seven Points Circle (unnumbered), Hermitage, Map & Parcel No. 98-13C195.00CO, as shown on the attached project plan MWS Project 16-SG-0137, attached hereto and incorporated by reference, the same being for a public purpose and the public convenience requiring it.

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
