ORDINANCE NO. BL2016-225

An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Property Administration to enter into a Lease Agreement (attached as “Exhibit 1”) with JDJP Development, LLC for temporary office space at 749 Massman Drive, Nashville, Tennessee (Proposal No. 2016M-013PR-001).

WHEREAS, JDJP Development, LLC owns certain real property located at 749 Massman Drive; and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County has determined that this property is needed to provide space for offices for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (“MNPD”); and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government and JDJP Development, LLC have negotiated the attached lease agreement attached as Exhibit 1.

WHEREAS, entering into this Lease Agreement is in the best interest of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Director of Public Property is hereby authorized to execute said Lease Agreement (as described in attached Exhibit 1).

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
