ORDINANCE NO. BL2016-180

An Ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept a donation of $75,000 from Lenox Village III, LLC, to aid in construction of traffic improvements at the intersection of Nolensville Road and Bienville Drive (Project No. 2016-R-10).

WHEREAS, Lenox Village III, LLC has offered to donate $75,000 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to aid in the construction of traffic improvements at the intersection of SR 11 Nolensville Pike and Bienville Drive for Project No. 2016-R-10; and,

WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept such donation for the purposes herein specified.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the Department of Public Works is authorized to accept the donation in the amount of $75,000 from Lenox Village III, LLC, to aid in the construction of traffic improvements at the intersection of SR 11 Nolensville Pike and Bienville Drive.

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
