ORDINANCE NO. BL2016-125

An ordinance amending Section 16.33.140 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws to designate additional geographic areas as rental inspection districts (Proposal Nos. 2016M-002OT-001 and 2016M-003OT-001).

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council duly finds that the conditions established in section 16.33.040(1) of the Metropolitan Code of Laws have been satisfied with respect to the designated residential rental inspection districts named “Holder Drive” and Tusculum Road” respectively, the location and extent of which have been submitted to the Planning Commission in accordance with Metropolitan Charter section 11.505, and which are duly described in two (2) summary maps attached hereto.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Section 16.33.140 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws shall be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following at the end of the alphabetically-itemized list of geographic areas labeled “a” through “l”:

m. Holder Drive.
n. Tusculum Road.

Section 2. That the rental inspection districts summary map referenced in Section 16.33.140 of the Metro Code of Laws shall be and the same is hereby amended by incorporating by reference the two (2) attached summary maps to be filed with the Metropolitan Clerk.

Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
