ORDINANCE NO. BL2015-62
An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon 380 linear feet of existing two inch water main and 75 linear feet of six inch existing water main for property located at 2535 Franklin Pike (MWS Project No. 15-WL-133 and Proposal No. 2015M-052ES-001).
WHEREAS, the abandonment of 380 linear feet of existing two inch water main and 75 linear feet of six inch existing water main for property located at 2535 Franklin Pike is needed to construct project number 15-WL-133 and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2015M-052ES-001 on September 25, 2015 for the abandonment of said water mains
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon 380 linear feet of existing two inch water main and 75 linear feet of six inch water main for property located at 2535 Franklin Pike as shown below and on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
