ORDINANCE NO. BL2015-1279
An Ordinance amending Section 7.08.090 of the Metropolitan Code pertaining to the exemption for existing on-premises beer permit holders from the distance requirements regarding the sale of beer near school property when a new school locates within 100 feet of the existing establishment.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Section 7.08.090 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by amending subsection G. by deleting the following phrase in its entirety:
“as long as the new owner applies for the on-premises beer permit within three hundred sixty-five (365) days after the expiration of the previous owner’s beer permit”
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
