Madam President:

I move to amend Ordinance No. BL2014-952 by amending Section 1 as follows:

1. By amending Section 6.74.050 by deleting the last sentence of subsection B.2. and substituting with the following:

“In the case of a TNC, the TNC’s commercial automobile liability insurance coverage and uninsured/underinsured motorist insurance coverage shall be consistent with the provisions of subsections B.3. and C. below.”

2. By amending Section 6.74.050 by adding the following phrase at the end of subsection B.3:

“or with regard to uninsured/underinsured motorist insurance coverage, for incidents occurring while there is a passenger in the TNC Vehicle.”

3. By amending Section 6.74.050 by deleting the last sentence of subsection C.1. and substituting with the following:

“The TNC shall also provide uninsured/underinsured motorist insurance coverage, to be effective while there is a passenger in the TNC Vehicle, in an amount not less than $25,000 (bodily injury per person) / $50,000 (per accident) / $15,000 (for property damage).”
