ORDINANCE NO. BL2014-789

An ordinance approving a partnership agreement between EMS World Expo and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Nashville Fire Department.

WHEREAS, the agreement between EMS World Expo and the Nashville Fire Department, attached hereto and incorporated herein, establishes a partnership agreement pertaining to the 2014 EMS World Expo taking place in Nashville in November of 2014; and,

WHEREAS, the Nashville Fire Department wishes to enter into the partnership agreement; and,

WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this partnership agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the agreement between EMS World Expo and the Nashville Fire Department, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, establishing a partnership agreement pertaining to the 2014 EMS World Expo, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
