ORDINANCE NO. BL2014-754

An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon approximately 130 linear feet of an existing eight inch sewer main and to construct approximately 15 linear feet of eight inch D.I.P water main and one fire hydrant assembly and approximately 108 linear feet of eight inch PVC sewer main for properties located at 336 and 345 Hill Avenue, (MWS Project Nos. 14-WL-4 and 12-SL-86 and Proposal No. 2014M-014ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 130 linear feet of an existing eight inch sewer main and construction of approximately 15 linear feet of eight inch D.I.P water main and one fire hydrant assembly and approximately 108 linear feet of eight inch PVC sewer main for properties located at 336 and 345 Hill Avenue are needed to construct MWS Projects 14-WL-4 and 12-SL-86; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2014M-014ES-001 on March 7, 2014, for the abandonment and construction of said sewer and water mains and fire hydrant assembly.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 130 linear feet of an existing eight inch sewer main and to construct approximately 15 linear feet of eight inch D.I.P water main and one fire hydrant assembly and approximately 108 linear feet of eight inch PVC sewer main for properties located at 336 and 345 Hill Avenue as shown below and on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and construction authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
