ORDINANCE NO. BL2013-633

An Ordinance amending Section 7.08.140 of the Metropolitan Code to allow beer sales on Sundays starting at 10:00 a.m.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Section 7.08.140 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by deleting subsection D. in its entirety and substituting with the following new subsection D.:

“D. To sell, give away, or allow beer to be consumed on any premises granted a permit under this chapter from three o’clock (3:00) a.m. to six o’clock (6:00) a.m. on weekdays and from three o’clock (3:00) a.m. to ten o’clock (10:00) a.m. on Sundays;”

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
