ORDINANCE NO. BL2013-580
An Ordinance amending Chapter 15.64 of the Metropolitan Code pertaining to the mailing of stormwater fee bills showing a zero balance or a credit.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Section 15.64.032 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by adding the following provision at the end of subsection H.:
“Notwithstanding the foregoing, the department shall not send a bill for the fees created by this section to a user through the U.S. mail that shows a zero balance or credit on the account(s) unless the Metropolitan Council, by resolution, specifically authorizes the department to send such bills showing a zero balance or credit for a particular purpose, which purpose is to be expressly stated in the resolution.”
Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance shall be implemented not later than ninety (90) days from the date of enactment of the ordinance.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
