ORDINANCE NO. BL2013-572

An ordinance approving a lease agreement between the Metropolitan Government and Rogers/Welch Venture, Inc. (“RWVI”) relating to parking in the Metropolitan Government’s parking facility located at 151 6th Avenue North (Proposal Number 2013M-040PR-001).

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government owns and operates a parking facility (the “Parking Garage”) located at 151 6th Avenue North; and,

WHEREAS, RWVI operates a business in leased space within the Renaissance Hotel building located at 611 Commerce Street; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the document attached and incorporated into this ordinance as Exhibit A, the Metropolitan Government proposes to lease certain spaces within the parking facility to be used in support of Tenant’s business.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The document attached as Exhibit A to this ordinance (the Lease Agreement) is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor or his designee is authorized to execute it on behalf of the Metropolitan Government.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
