ORDINANCE NO. BL2013-547

An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon approximately 210 linear feet of an existing eight inch public sewer main and easement and to accept approximately 212 linear feet of an eight inch public sewer main and easement for property located at 4418 Lealand Lane, (MWS Project No. 13-SL-55 and Proposal No. 2013M-044ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 210 linear feet of an existing eight inch public sewer main and easement and the acceptance of approximately 212 linear feet of an eight inch sewer main and easement for the property located at 4418 Lealand Lane are needed to construct MWS project number 13-SL-55; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2013M-044-001 on August 6, 2013, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sewer mains and easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon and accept public sewer mains and easements for the property located below as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
