ORDINANCE NO. BL2013-546

An ordinance approving a lease agreement by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the Christine P. Nall Living Trust for the building located at 339 21st Avenue North, Nashville (Proposal No. 2013M-036PR-001).

WHEREAS, the Christine P. Nall Living Trust owns a building located at 339 21st Avenue North, Nashville, Tennessee 37203; and,

WHEREAS, the building contains approximately 4,814 square feet of space suitable for the operation of a medical clinic to treat employees injured by accident arising out of and in the course of employment; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the Lease Agreement attached to this ordinance, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County proposes to lease the building for use as an in-line-of-duty injury medical clinic; and,

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this lease be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1: That the Lease Agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the Christine P. Nall Living Trust for the building located at 339 21st Avenue North, Nashville, a copy of which is attached hereto, is hereby approved and the Metropolitan County Mayor is authorized to execute the same on behalf of the Metropolitan Government.

Section 2: That any further amendments to the Lease Agreement shall be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council receiving at least twenty one affirmative votes.

Section 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
