ORDINANCE NO. BL2013-444

An ordinance approving the Metropolitan Government to negotiate and accept permanent and potential easements for the Sunnyslope Court Stormwater Improvement Project Number 13-SWC-122 on four (4) properties located at 608, 612, 613, and 617 Sunnyslope Court (Proposal No. 2013M-012ES-001).

WHEREAS, the negotiation and acceptance of easements on properties located at 608, 612, 613, and 617 Sunnyslope Court are needed to construct Stormwater Improvement Project Number 13-SWC-122; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2013M-012ES-001 on March 18, 2013, for the negotiation and acceptance of said easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government is authorized to negotiate and accept permanent and potential easements on the properties located below and shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2. The Director of Water and Sewerage Services and the Director of Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the negotiation and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
