ORDINANCE NO. BL2013-397

An ordinance approving Amendment 1 to a contract between the Metropolitan Government and CCBCC Operations, LLC to extend the contract for beverage services.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Purchasing Agent, previously entered into a contract agreement with CCBCC Operations, LLC for beverage services at various facilities, including Municipal Auditorium, the Convention Center, and the Metro Parks; and,

WHEREAS, the original term of the contract was five (5) years, and, pursuant to Section 2(b) of the original agreement, the parties can extend the term of the contract for an additional five (5) years by amendment with approval of the Metropolitan Council; and,

WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the contract to extend the term of the contract for an additional five (5) years; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that Amendment 1 be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Amendment 1 to the contract by and between The Metropolitan Government and CCBCC Operations, LLC, for beverage services, a copy of which Amendment 1 is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
