ORDINANCE NO. BL2012-226
An ordinance acquiring permanent and temporary easements for the Saturn Drive Stormwater Improvement Project (11-SWC-0283) on properties located along Murfreesboro Pike and Saturn Drive (Proposal No. 2012M-014ES-001).
WHEREAS, The construction of the Saturn Drive Stormwater Improvement Project requires permanent and temporary easements on twelve (12) properties located along Murfreesboro Pike and Saturn Drive; and,
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved the acquisition of the easements in Mandatory Referral No. 2012M-014ES-001, dated May 17, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government is authorized to acquire the permanent and temporary easements located along Murfreesboro Pike and Saturn Drive, as indicated on Exhibit 1 and 2, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference:
Section 2. The Director of Water and Sewerage Services and the Director of Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to acquire the temporary and permanent easements authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
