ORDINANCE NO. BL2012-224
An ordinance approving the acquisition of easements for the Dickerson Pike Stormwater Improvement Project (11-SWC-0280) located east of Dickerson Pike along Ben Allen Road, Broadmoor Drive and Hillside Road (Proposal No. 2012M-012ES-001).
WHEREAS, The Department of Water and Sewerage Services must acquire easements for the Dickerson Pike Stormwater Improvement Project located east of Dickerson Pike along Ben Allen Road, Broadmoor Drive and Hillside Road; and,
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2012M-012ES-001, on May 22, 2012, for acquisition of easements for Project 11-SWC-0280.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government is approved to acquire easements along Ben Allen Road, Broadmoor Drive and Hillside Road, as shown and listed on Exhibit 1 and 2, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. The Director of Water and Sewerage Services and the Director of Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acquisition authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
