ORDINANCE NO. BL2012-222

An ordinance approving the acquisition of property located at 0 Brush Hill Road for the Loves Branch Pump Station Upgrade Project (11-SC-108) (Proposal No. 2012M-016PR-001).

WHEREAS, The Department of Water and Sewerage Services must acquire property on Brush Hill Road to construct the Loves Branch Pump Station Project, 11-SC-108; and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2012M-016PR-001, on June 6, 2012, for acquisition of property for the Loves Branch Pump Station Project, 11-SC-108.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government is authorized to acquire property located at 0 Brush Hill Road, map and parcel number 05116001300, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. The Director of Water and Sewerage Services and the Director of Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acquisition authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
