ORDINANCE NO. BL2012-220

An ordinance approving the acquisition of property located at 3268 Brick Church Pike for the Brick Church Pike Equalization Facility Project (11-SC-110). (Proposal No. 2012M-013PR-001).

WHEREAS, The Department of Water and Sewerage Services must acquire property located at 3268 Brick Church Pike to construct the Brick Church Pike Equalization Facility Project (11-SC-110); and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2012M-013PR-001, on June 6, 2012, for acquisition of the property located at 3268 Brick Church Pike, for Project 11-SC-110.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government is authorized to acquire the property located 3268 Brick Church Pike, map and parcel number 05000002200, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. The Director of Water and Sewerage Services and the Director of Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acquisition authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
