ORDINANCE NO. BL2012-208

An ordinance abandoning eight drainage easements on properties located at 609, 625, 628, 632, 636, 641, 648 and 649 Belle Park Circle. (Proposal No. 2012M-011ES-001).

WHEREAS, Eight drainage easements on properties located at 609, 625, 628, 632, 636, 641, 648 and 649 Belle Park Circle, on the north side of Forrest Park Drive, are no longer being used by the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services, nor any other public utility; and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved abandonment of the drainage easements in mandatory referral No. 2012M-011ES-001, dated April 19, 2012.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government abandons eight drainage easements on properties located at 609, 625, 628, 632, 636, 641, 648 and 649 Belle Park Circle, as indicated on the four (4) exhibits which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. The Director of Water and Sewerage Services and the Director of Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to abandon the eight drainage easements.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
