ORDINANCE NO. BL2012-147

An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to cooperate with Wilson Bank and Trust to provide a public sewer extension in Davidson County for the Grove at Cane Ridge Subdivision, Project No. 05-SL-61.

WHEREAS, Wilson Bank and Trust has requested public sewer service for The Grove at Cane Ridge Subdivision, Project No. 05-SL-61, in Davidson County, Tennessee; and,

WHEREAS, Wilson Bank and Trust has paid $150,000 to the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to fund the construction, operation, and maintenance costs for a proposed pump station and force main which will benefit Wilson Bank and Trust, the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services, and the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County; and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services is willing to construct, operate and maintain the proposed pumping station and force main.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

Section 1. The Grove at Cane Ridge Phase 2 Pumping Station and Force Main Operation & Maintenance Agreement with Wilson Bank and Trust for Project No. 05-SL-61, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is approved and the Director of the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewer Services is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. Wilson Bank and Trust’s payment of $150,000 shall be deposited in the Water and Sewer Extension and Replacement Fund No. 67311 for the construction, operation and maintenance of the proposed pumping station and force main.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
