ORDINANCE NO. BL2012-131

An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Property to accept and record an easement for a school bus ramp/turnaround off Riley Adcock Road (Proposal No. 2012M-006ES-001).

WHEREAS, the owner of a parcel described in the document attached as Exhibit A to this ordinance has agreed to donate an easement and right-of-entry to the Metropolitan Government for use as a school bus ramp/turnaround; and,

WHEREAS, the terms of the donation are as set forth in the easement and right-of-entry agreement (the “Agreement”) comprising Exhibit A; and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved the acquisition in mandatory referral No. 2012M-006ES-001, on February 13, 2012; and,

WHEREAS, the citizens of Nashville and Davidson County will benefit by accepting the donated easement and right-of-entry.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Director of Public Property, or his designee, is authorized to accept the easement and right-of-entry and record the Agreement (Exhibit A).

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
