ORDINANCE NO. BL2012-114

An Ordinance amending Chapter 7.20 of the Metropolitan Code to allow beer distributors to have two places of business within the area of the Metropolitan Government under certain circumstances.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Title 7 of the Code of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Alcoholic Beverages, is hereby amended by amending Section 7.20.010, subsection A., by adding the following sentence at the end of the subsection:

“Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, a distributor may be permitted to have a second place of business provided that the additional place of business is on contiguous property and is operated by the same legal entity.”

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
