ORDINANCE NO. BL2011-9

An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to enter into an agreement with First Citizens National Bank to fund the operation and maintenance of a public pressure sewer extension at Cambridge Park (Proposal No. 2011M-020ES-01).

WHEREAS, First Citizens National Bank has expressed a desire to provide a public pressure sewer extension through construction, at its sole expense, of a sewerage pump station and force main for its development at Cambridge Park at Barnes Road; and,

WHEREAS, First Citizens National Bank agrees to fund the additional operation and maintenance costs for the proposed pump station and force main in the amount of $150,000.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The operation and maintenance agreement with First Citizens National Bank to provide public pressure sewer through construction of a sewerage pump station and force main for its development at the Cambridge Park Pumping Station, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Director of Water and Sewerage Services is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. Any amendments, extensions, or renewals of this agreement may be approved by resolution.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
