ORDINANCE NO. BL2011-59

An ordinance approving an affiliation agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department, Division of Emergency Medical Services, and Bar Education, Inc. for students to receive clinical instruction and training.

WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of Bar Education, Inc. and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for students with the Nashville Fire Department, Division of Emergency Medical Services; and,

WHEREAS, Bar Education, Inc. and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department, Division of Emergency Medical Services, have entered into an affiliation agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein; to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this affiliation agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the affiliation agreement between Bar Education, Inc. and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department, Division of Emergency Medical Services, for students to receive clinical instruction and training, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
