ORDINANCE NO. BL2011-970

An ordinance approving and accepting a contribution in the amount of $50,000 from Centex Homes for road improvements at the intersection of Hamilton Church Road and Mt. View Road.

WHEREAS, the Fawn Crossing development has been constructed in the area of the Hamilton Church Road and Mt. View Road intersection; and,

WHEREAS, said development increased the need of the Metropolitan Government for certain infrastructure improvements at the Hamilton Church Road and Mt. View Road intersection; and,

WHEREAS, in acknowledgement of the foregoing, Centex Homes has offered $50,000 to the Metroplitain Government to be used for said infrastructure improvements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the contribution of $50,000 from Centex Homes is hereby approved and accepted, and shall be deposited in a fund designated by the Director of Finance.

Section 2. That the Department of Public Works shall use these funds for the purposes of infrastructure improvements at the intersection of Hamilton Church Road and Mt. View Road.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
