ORDINANCE NO. BL2011-863

An ordinance amending Chapter 7.16 of the Metropolitan Code pertaining to the location restrictions for the sale of liquor by artisan distilleries.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Section 7.16.030 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by adding the following provision at the end of subsection A.2.:

“, provided that this requirement shall not be applicable to an artisan distillery as defined in section 17.04.060 of the metropolitan code.”

Section 2. That Section 7.16.050 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by adding the following provision at the end thereof:

“The provisions of this section shall not be applicable to an artisan distillery as defined in section 17.04.060 of the metropolitan code.”

Section 3. That Section 7.16.060 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by adding the following provision at the end thereof:

“The provisions of this section shall not be applicable to an artisan distillery as defined in section 17.04.060 of the metropolitan code.”

Section 4. That Section 7.16.110 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by adding the following provision at the end of subsection E:

“The provisions of this subsection shall not be applicable to an artisan distillery as defined in section 17.04.060 of the metropolitan code.”

Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
