ORDINANCE NO. BL2010-728
An ordinance accepting a donation from Police Explorers, Post 911 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
WHEREAS, Police Explorers, Post 911 wishes to donate a Polaris Ranger off road vehicle to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the donation of a Polaris Ranger off road vehicle by Police Explorers, Post 911 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department is authorized to accept the donation for its use and benefit.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
